Birgir (Biggi) Skulason

FOUNDER/OWNER

Biggi is a qualified AIDA Master freediver instructor and PADI Freedive instructor trainer, AIDA judge, PADI scuba instructor as well as an EFR instructor trainer. Trained in Dahab, Egypt where he completed AIDA 2, 3 and 4.

He continued his freediving education in the UK passing AIDA/SSI Instructor with Emma Farrell. He was the first person in Iceland to qualify as a freediver and currently holds the Icelandic outdoor freedive records.

Lover of the sea, Biggi also holds boatmasters rights… Hobbies beside under the surface are: Family, boats, rockclimbing, fitness and all strange adventures.

Sigríður / Sigga Lárusdóttir

ASSISTANT/ FREEDIVE GUIDE

Sigga is a freediving enthusiast. certified Aida 4 and Padi freedive instructor.  She trained in Iceland with Biggi and has been exploring Icelandic waters for many years. Her extensive diving experience is also complemented with scuba diving, as a PADI scuba instructor.

She has a B.Sc in Biomedical Science and is also a Hypnotherapist. Hobbies: Freediving, scubadiving, outdoor activities, hypnosis! Cross country skiing, swimming, weight lifting and everything which makes her happy.

Þorsteinn Mási/ Steini Jónsson

ASSISTANT/ FREEDIVE GUIDE

Þorsteinn the pool master likes to be surrounded by water whether it is taking a swim in one of the thermal pools of iceland, taking a dive in to the cold north atlantic sea or diving in cristal clear water of silfra.

He is certified as aida 4 and AIDA judge and has been freediving since 2012 when he got introduced to freediving by biggi and got amazed by the sport. Steini holds two icelandic indoor freedive records. Hobbies: outdoor activities, music and so much more A crafts man by trade and likes to live life to the fullest
