Bjarnagjá is an inland fissure about 22 metres deep, roughly 50km from Reykjavík near Grindavík. What makes it special: it's a mix of fresh and salt water, and you can actually see the two layers meet as you dive through them. Good visibility year-round, whatever the weather's doing above the surface.
